ZAGG, a producer of mobile electronics accessories, has unveiled its new US$79.99 Z.buds earphones, marking the company’s entry into the headphones market. The Z.buds integrates passive noise cancellation, allowing music and user conversations to be heard more clearly, according to ZAGG CEO Robert Pedersen II.
Their nylon cord is designed with several wearability options. The heavy-duty cord can be worn around the neck or around the back of the neck and over the ear to keep it in place during sports and exercise.
Available in two colors, black and red, the versatile Z.buds earphones act as a hands-free headset, allowing for the integration of both phone and music functions. Featuring an in-line volume management and on-cord button to control calls and music, the Z.buds also has a microphone. The earphones come with a variety of interchangeable foam, silicone and triple-flange tips.
