MWSF: YourView bridges the gap between iMovie HD and iMovie ‘08

EditLite is demoing YourView, a US$29.99 digital video application designed as a “partner” for iMovie, at this week’s Macworld Confernce & Expo. It has an icon-based interface allowing users to tag, view and search within video files before exporting to iMovie HD or iMovie ‘08.
YourView has been developed in conjunction with Apple over the last 12 months as a compatible video tagging tool for iMovie HD and iMovie 08, allowing the user to create, search and watch clips within a single piece of media simply by tagging the media with icons at the click of a button, says YourView Managing Director Ian Woolsey. The user can then export multiple clips of their choice into iMovie, giving a slicker, faster transition from importing video to final edit, he adds.
A 15-day demo version of YourView is available for download. The software works with Mac OS X 10.4 (“Tiger”) and 10.5 (“Leopard”). YourView integrates with iMovie ‘06, HD and ‘08 .
