WinPwn 2.0 released For Windows users (video)

imageWinPwn 2.0, the jailbreak/pwning software for Windows users running the iPhone 2.0 software, has been released. Those of you Windows users looking to jailbreak your iPhone 3G, iPod touch or iPhone running the latest firmware version can now do so. The team posted the download and the instructions on their website.

WinPwn 2.0 features:

• Support for both 1.1.4 and 2.0
• Custom Image Support
• Custom Payload Support
• iPhone 3G support

Instructions:

• First create a custom IPSW using the IPSW Builder.
• Click “Ipwner” and browse for the custom IPSW that you just created. This will pwn itunes and allow you to flash Custom IPSW files via DFU mode.
• Once you have pwned Itunes, put your phone into DFU mode (With your iPhone connected to iTunes, hold down sleep/wake and home buttons for 7 seconds until the screen turns black, continue holding for 2 seconds, then remove your finger from the sleep/wake button until iTunes recognizes it.)
• Once you are in DFU mode Itunes will pop up and then you can hold shift and click restore and browse to your custom IPSW file.
