image Welcome to the Dollhouse is the 99 cent “Movie Rental of the Week” at the iTunes Store. It’s a 1995 film by writer-director Todd Solondz about an unattractive seventh grader as she struggles to cope with un-attentive parents, snobbish classmates, a smart older brother, an attractive younger sister, and her own insecurities.

You can buy Welcome to the Dollhouse for US$9.99. Except for specials like the “Movie Rental of the Week,” iTunes Movie Rentals are priced at $2.99 for library titles and $3.99 for new releases. High definition versions are just one dollar more with library titles at $3.99 and new releases at $4.99.
