WD rolls out new My Passport Essential USB hard drives

imageWD has introduced its new My Passport Essential Portable USB Drives. Redesigned to complement WD’s My Book family of external drives, the drives introduce a sleek new form that fits neatly in a pocket or purse.

Available now at select retailers and at WD’s online store, the new My Passport Essential USB Drives feature a glossy black finish and weigh in at less than five ounces. Bus powered, they don’t need an external power adapter. The manufacturer’s suggested retail price for the WD Passport Essential USB Drive 320GB is US$199.99.
