Wacom adds two new models to Cintiq line

Wacom has added two new models to its line of Cintiq pen tablets. Both new models incorporate widescreen aspect ratios.

The US $999 12WX features a 12.1-inch TFT display that can stand upright or lay flat. It measures 16 by 10.5 by .67 inches and has a 10.3 by 6.4 inch display area. The 12WX has a WXGA (1280×800) native resolution and weighs 4.4 pounds with the video control unit.

The $1,999 Cintiq 20WSX model has 20.1-inch TFT display with 1680×1050 resolution. It measures 21.6 by 14.5 by 1.8 inches and has a 17 by 10.4 inch display area. The 20WSX weighs 16.3 pounds without a stand and 20 pounds with one.
