Video Without Boundaries’ media centers to add iTunes, iPod support

Video Without Boundaries, a provider of interactive, media-convergent home entertainment devices, has extended the capabilities of its MediaREADY Digital Media Center product line to include support for an array of new applications and services, including online services and applications including iTunes, Yahoo! Music, Google Video, AOL Optimized 9.0, voice calling as well as transfer of video and audio to the 5G (video) iPod.
The MediaREADY 4000 and MediaREADY 5000 products already include TV-centric applications like Personal Video Recording (PVR), DVD/MPEG-1, 2, 4/CD/MP3 recording and playback, electronic program guide, Internet browsing, email, and karaoke. All MediaREADY products also support broadband Internet and wired/wireless home network connections. They offer a Linux operating platform, software/hardware upgrades and exclusive downloadable content from a range of entertainment providers.
