This week, George W. said that the only way to avoid a recession was for consumer spending to rise. I’m no accountant, but I would wager that in Economics 101 that they teach you that recessions are triggered by consumers spending way too much.
So let’s see if I have this straight – we’re going to pull ourselves out of a recession by doing more of what got us to this point in the first place? I don’t know how, but Cheyney and his gun figure into this equation somewhere!
Meanwhile, one of George’s twin daughters (the one with the most DUIs, I think) is to be betrothed this weekend. Now if only George would give us away, say to Canada.
But there is a silver lining to all of this. Yes. 147 days left to the election. That means only 148 more days until Clinton’s concession speech!

I, Frank Petrie, wrote this, nor Dave. I have it that you have different take on the topic? Elucidate me.
And apologize to Dave please.
Thank you, John.

John, I posted this for Frank. He’s been real busy, so I though I would help him out. Anyway, the economy should be back on track as soon as we all get out checks from Uncle Sam and spend them. ;-)

Dave, it is also obvious that you are not an Economist either.
