Troi Automatisering has released Troi Activator Plug-in 2.7 for FileMaker Pro 9. The Activator Plug-in is a tool for triggering scripts across the network, even over the Internet.

Version 2.7 adds:

° A new switch ”-GetAllEventsList” to the Actr_GetEventInfo function. This will return a tab separated list of all the events that the plug-in knows about, including future and triggered events.

° A new switch ”-GetAllEventIDs” to the Actr_GetEventInfo function. This will return a list of all the eventIDs that the plug-in knows about, including future and triggered events.

° A new Actr_VersionAutoUpdate function. The Actr_VersionAutoUpdate function is part of an emerging standard for FileMaker plug-ins of third party vendors of plug-ins. The version number is returned in the format aabbccdd where every letter represents a digit of the level, so versions can be easily compared.

It also improves the display and handling of registration codes. All these features also work in a runtime solution and between different versions of FileMaker Pro. So, for examplem you can send data from a FileMaker 7 runtime to a FileMaker Pro 9 database.

A fully functional demo version of Troi Activator Plug-in 2.7 is available for download.

Troi Activator Plug-in 2.7 works with FileMaker Pro 7, 8.x and 9. The plug-in can also be used with runtimes from FileMaker Developer 7 or with FileMaker Pro Advanced 8.x or FileMaker Pro Advanced 9. The plug-in is available for Mac OS X 10.4.5 or higher and Windows XP (Service Pack 2) and Vista. Licenses cost US$89 per user. Details on developer licenses and multi-user discounts can be found on the Troi web site.
