Tripos releases Mac version of SYBYL molecular modeling environment for the Mac

imageTripos International, a provider of drug discovery informatics products and services, has released its SYBYL software for Mac OS X 10.5 (“Leopard”) on Intel-based Macs. SYBYL is a suite of computational chemistry and molecular modeling solutions.

It provides life science researchers with a fully integrated family of applications that help produce and optimize lead candidates, smooth and simplify workflows, and accelerate the pace of molecular discovery, says Tripos’ General Manager Patrick Flanagan. Using applications built into Mac OS X like iChat, SYBYL users can communicate and collaborate instantly with colleagues in another building or around the world, he adds.
