How would you like to know exactly where your kids or significant other are by tracking their iPhone? Are your kids someplace they’re not supposed to be? Is your significant other cheating on you? Well, thanks to Navizon’s Mobfindr, you can track their global position via their iPhone and find out exactly where they are. Cool, huh?
Using Mobfindr could also come in handy if your iPhone was ever lost or stolen. Can you imagine the look on face of the crook that stole your iPhone when you caught up with him?
It’s uncertain yet if you will find this app in Apple’s App Store because it uses a process running in the background. Apple frowns against this because of battery life concerns. In this case though, I didn’t notice any significant battery drain. The Navizon dameon is basically idling in the background until it sends a SMS message with its coordinates.
Note: Currently, Mobfindr will only work on a jailbroken iPhone running pre-2.0 iPhone software.
Below is a demo of how Mobfindr works.
