telekinesis is an app that lets you remotely control your Mac through a collection of mini web apps on a cell phone, including the iPhone. For the iPhone you’ll need to download the iPhone Remote, which is currently in alpha testing.
Telekinesis offers screen capture with mouse click and basic typing support and a simple iTunes Remote control. You can browse your files, run AppleScript remotely, do iSight image capture and stream music and videos from your computer.
This is still a developer prototype and is intended only as a demo to get people started. It will have the same access privileges as your user account. The log-in and password you specify will be stored on disk, so should be different, but as strong as your account password. For more info on iPhone Remote go here.
