imageTEAC America has launched the TEAC inCore Audio ZE-1000, a new high-def set of earphones “designed for music lovers looking for a rich and lifelike listening experience.” Alas, there’s no info about pricing at the TEAC site (or anywhere else we looked).

The inCore Audio sports patented five-layer silicone ear pads designed to seal off ambient noise resulting in greater acoustic isolation and dual hi-definition BA (Balanced Armature) drivers. Naturally, they work with iPods and other MPE players, as well as other devices.

The inCore Audio has four integrated micro-speakers. The sound isolating silicone ear pads block ambient noise up to -30dB, according to the folks at TEAC. inCore Audio ear pads come in three sizes (S, M, L). They come with a carrying case, a 1/4-inch (63mm) jack for home stereo system application and an airplane adapter-plug.
