Tellini has updated Tabulatures, a Mac OS X editor for PowerTab tablatures, to version 1.2.3. The new version implements a workaround for a Mac OS X/Xcode bug that caused some crashes while saving certain tablatures.

PowerTab is a well-known and widely adopted tablature editor; thousands of transcriptions in this format are available on the Internet. You can share your music even with those members of your band that don’t own a Mac. What’s more, you find thousands of song transcriptions in this format on the net.

Tablatures can also import most GuitarPro 3-5 tabs. With Tablatures you can also export your tabs in MIDI format, or follow the playback on screen to help your learning process.

Tablatures is an Universal Application, so runs natively on both PowerPC and Intel Macs. It requires Mac OS X 10.4 or later and costs approximately US$58.Version 1.2.3 is a free update for registered users.
