imageApple CEO Steve Jobs is no longer among the top 10 best compensated CEOs of tech companies, according to Forbes. He comes in at number 11.

“Jobs slid to No. 11 (from No. 1 in 2006),” Forbes says. “He took home a mere $14.6 million in compensation in 2007. By contrast, Forbes pegged Jobs’ compensation in 2006 at a whopping $646 million—thanks, of course, to his hefty stock package, a number that caught the eye of regulators.”

Oracle CEO Larry Ellison tops the list. He cam in first on Forbes’ overall list of best-paid CEOs and continues to rank at number 14 on Forbes’ list of world billionaires, with estimated assets of $25 billion.
