SoundTech announces Guitar Home Theater Interface

imageSoundTech Professional Audio has announced the SoundTech Guitar Home Theater Interface, a new device that enables musicians to plug their guitar directly into their home theater stereo system. It will be available June 1 ath a suggested retail price of US$99.99.

The SoundTech Guitar Home Theater Interface connects with any electric or acoustic electric guitar and plugs directly into a home theater receiver’s A/V input, enabling a guitar to be played through a home audio system and eliminating the need for additional amplification equipment. It has an onboard automatic large matrix display tuner, preamplifier and choice of sound and effects.

The SoundTech Guitar Home Theater Interface features five built-in saturation settings; Clean, Acoustic, Blues, Hard Rock and Heavy Metal, allowing users to add definition and customize their sound. The guitar sound can be tailored even further using the built-in three-band EQ with high, mid and low adjustments and adjustable digital reverb.
