Softpress updates Freeway, offers special to GoLive users

imageSoftpress Systems has released Freeway 5.1, an update to its web design software. And the company is also offering a special for users of GoLive, which has been discontinued by Adobe.

In addition to the features added in Freeway 5 (CSS menus, Google Actions, Blogger templates, script.aculo.us Actions and dozens more), Freeway 5.1 brings: support for publishing a feed from a page with the RSS Feed Action; support for SVG as a graphic import format, either for conversion to JPEG, GIF or PNG or as a pass-through to the finished page; the ability to have in-flow block items now be either CSS or table based items; and more. This release, a free update to all registered owners of Freeway 5, is available here. Additionally, free 30-day trials of Freeway Express and Freeway Pro are available for download.

Full versions of Freeway 5 Pro can be purchased for US$249, and Freeway 5 Express is $79. Upgrades from Freeway 4 Pro to Freeway 5 Pro are $99, upgrades from Freeway 4 Express to Freeway 5 Express are $49. Owners of Freeway 4 Express can upgrade to Freeway 5 Pro for $149. Also, for a limited time, owners of GoLive 8 or later can purchase Freeway Pro at a 30 percent discount. More pricing details (including student, senior and non-profit discounts) can be found here.
