It’s official: Mac OS X 10.6 (“Snow Leopard”), the next major rev of Mac OS X, which is due in about a year, will be for Intel Macs only, according to documentation seen at this week’s Apple Worldwide Developer Conference.
According to AppleInsider the documentation states that in order to install Snow Leopard, developers must have a Mac computer with “an Intel processor” and at least 512MB of RAM, though additional memory is recommended for development purposes.
