SmartSound Software, a provider of music and technology for visual content creators, has cut the pricing on the standard and bundle editions of its Sonicfire Pro software.

Sonicfire Pro, which is Mac OS X compatible, is used by independent filmmakers, TV broadcasters and corporate A/V editors to partially or completely score their projects. It can, among other things, automatically present you with multiple cuts of a music track at any length needed.

Sonicfire Pro Standard Edition—Sonicfire Pro 3 software plus two royalty-free SmartSound Music CDs—has been reduced from US$299 to $249. Sonicfire Pro Bundle Edition—Sonicfire Pro 3 software plus five royalty-free SmartSound Music CDs—has been reduced from $499 to $399. Along with the new pricing, SmartSound is currently offering a $50 instant rebate for anyone purchasing the Standard Edition of Sonicfire Pro.
