Shutterbug update sports over 18 additions, enhancements

XtraLean Software has updated its WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) web site creation tool, ShutterBug, to version 2.3, which has more than 18 new additions and improvements. itimproves the quality of images with the new image processing engine and the addition of filter controls to adjust the sharpness, brightness, contrast and saturation of images.

Version 2.3 also offers optimized and enhanced HTML output. Other new additions include a “Replace Image” feature, LightBox slideshow option, iPhoto ‘08 and iMedia Browser compatibility, plus more options for QuickTime Xtras.

ShutterBug is a Mac OS X tool that lets you create the look and feel of a photo album for online viewing using the edit-in-place browser—or you can use a pre-packed template from the layout library. The browser displays your site as it would appear on the Web. You can review your site and slideshow, test your links (including external hyperlinks), and edit the content on the fly. ImageWell is an image editor.

ShutterBug requires Mac OS X 10.3.9 or better and is a Universal Binary for both Intel-based Mac and Power PC support. ShutterBug supports .Mac, WebDAV, FTP/SFTP, and Export to a Folder.

ShutterBug 2.3 can be tried for free and is available for immediate download. Registered users can update for free and new users can purchase a registration key for only $39.95 CAD.
