‘setteB.IT’: Singapore Airlines welcomes aboard the iPod, iPod touch

setteB.IT published an article about iPod/iPhone integration in Singapore Airlines’ entertainment system by Panasonic Avionics. Five Airbus A340-500 will be converted in business class only aircrafts.
Today Singapore Airlines begin to fly from Singapore to New York-Newark. In August the airline will add a Singapore-Los Angeles flight with this aircraft configuration. Singapore Airlines began installing USB ports on Boeing B777-300ER in November 2006. In May 2007 they installed StarOffice in the entertainment system. Now they’ve added the dock port for the iPhone and iPod.
