On July 11 Apple will launch the iPhone 3G in 20 countries, not 22. France will get the iPhone 3G on July 17, according to an Orange press release; however, an Apple press release says the country will get it on July 11.

Big confusion. Anyway, the French home page of Apple.com shows “disponible le 17 jillet.” The news is worse for, Belgium. Despite the announcement of Apple CEO Steve Jobs on Monday at the Worldwide Developer Conference and despite the Orange press release on May 16, the iPhone will arrive in Belgium at an unknown day in 2008.
