FracturedSoftware has updated Rondo, its MIDI player for Mac OS X, to version 2.7. The upgrade includes over a dozen new features including a MIDI export option, note names on the keyboard and drag and drop loading of a file. The music library also has sortable playlist columns and several user fields to add your own info.

Rondo features a vertical piano roll with live scrolling and a horizontal playing piano so that you can follow the music even if you can’t read music scores. Looping controls enable you to continuously repeat the same section of music. Rate controls allow you to adjust the music to the tempo you need.

Rondo is priced at US $25, though version 2.7 is a free update for registered users. It requires Mac OS X 10.3 or higher. It’s Universal Binary so runs natively on both PowerPC and Intel Macs.

The “Macsimum MWSF 2007 Coupon Book” is available for download. You can find it here and print it as a PDF. It has discounts, special offers and promotions in conjunction with the upcoming Macworld Conference & Expo in San Francisco.
