Redline racing game roars to version 1.0.5

Ambrosia Software has updated its Redline auto racing game for Mac OS X to version 1.0.5. The upgrade offers an integrated enhanced Ambrosia registration system
Custom cars can specify RPMs for shifting up and engaging the clutch. And Redline can now list more then 64 different tracks
Redline features a dozen racing challenges such as acceleration, slalom, graduating you to real-world tracks with a variety of racing conditions. With each progressive challenge, your performance earns you new challenges, and new cars to drive. Your performance is also ranked among other Redline players from around the world via an Internet leader board.
According to the folks at Ambrosia Software, the real fun, though, is meeting people on the Internet and running them off of the road. Redline supports up to 12 people in a network race, either on a local network, or over the Internet. You can meet up in the Lobby, pick a course, pick your cars, and slam competitors into the guard rail in a quest for the coveted checkered flag.
Tracks range from dirt road rally courses to high speed racing tracks to mountainous roads, Redline offers an assortment of arenas in which you can test the metal of almost two dozen different cars. There are also challenges, time trials and more.
Redline costs US$25, but version 1.0.5 is a free update for registered users. It requires Mac OS X 10.2.8 or higher.
