RadioShack to start selling the iPhone in limited areas

RadioShack has announced that it will carry the iPhone at a limited number of stores later this month. Stores in Dallas-Fort Worth and the New York City metropolitan areas will get the iPhone 3G and 3GS, while stores nationwide will carry the phones beginning in 2010.
RadioShack shares climbed 2% to US$18.10 in late trading Friday on the news. Wireless phones and services generate about a third of RadioShack’s sales, according to The Wall Street Journal.
