Trend Micro is offering a beta, pre-release version of Trend Smart Surfing 1.5 is available to the public. To run the Trend Smart Surfing for Mac beta go here.
Participants in the beta program will have a chance to win an 8GB iPod nano, weekly iPod shuffle prizes, and the first 200 participants will receive a complimentary one-year serial number for Trend Smart Surfing for Mac. Just remember that beta software is unfinished software so use with care.
Trend Smart Surfing was built from the ground up as a Macintosh native application, to provide protection against unsafe websites and malicious software. It also allows users to filter inappropriate web sites that they might not want children to see.
The beta program is designed to test Trend Smart Surfing in ‘real world’ environments, and help Trend Micro improve the software through a collection of feedback from users.
