Proporta has introduced new cases for the iPhone. The US$59.95 Alu-Leather Case (shown) is handcrafted. The interior is lined with aluminum to protect the touch screen, with an ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) edging designed to give extra protection.
All ports and controls are accessible while in the case, and the “flip” design means that you can fold the cover behind the case for access to the touch screen. It also allows you to make use of the detachable belt clip and functional lanyard provided.
The US$28.95 Alu-Crystal has been designed to add little bulk to the device while complementing rather than hiding the stunning looks of the iPhone, according to the folks at Proporta. It’s made from a material that combines polycarbonate plastic with an aircraft grade aluminium. The iPhone Alu-Crystal Case incorporates a hinged fascia that, when fully opened, acts as a viewing stand for your device.
The $23.95 Crystal Holster attaches your iPhone to your belt and covers all four corners of the device for increased protection. It’s made from scratch-resistant, frosted plastic and includes a protective layer to guard the back of the device while it’s safely enclosed in the Holster.
The belt clip, which features a crystal clip to match the Crystal Holster, is featured on a ratchet system, enabling it to be rotated and held in place while still attached to your belt. If you decide to take the phone off your belt, the clever belt clip also works as a stand for video viewing. If you’d prefer to wear your iPhone around your neck, the Crystal Holder comes with a lanyard point at the base of the holster for whenever you need to free your hands. All ports and controls are fully accessible when your iPhone is in the holster.
