Picturesque ready for Leopard

imageAcqualia has released Picturesque 2.0, an update of the Mac OS X application designed” to make images look gorgeous for the web.” Entirely rewritten for Mac OS X 10.5 (“Leopard”) using Core Animation, the upgrade features an entirely redesigned single window interface, cropping, presets, and the 3D perspective effect.

Picturesque has a drag ‘n drop interface. It can beautify your images with reflections, soft glows, shadows, curves, strokes and fades and more, according to the folks at Acqualia. it can also “beautify” a whole folder of images in batch with a single click, and includes Automator actions for automation.

Picturesque 2.0 costs US$34.95. It requires Mac OS X 10.4 or later. Registered users of Picturesque 1.x can upgrade for $12.95.A demo is available at the Acqualia web site.
