Clark Software has updated Peek-a-Boo, a utility to monitor and manipulate all running processes, to version 2.7, which works with Mac OS X 10.5 (“Leopard”).
Peek-a-Boo 2.7 windows now look more consistent. The memory column in the process list window can now be sorted by physical memory in addition to virtual memory; see the preferences pane to set this. And there are miscellaneous bug fixes and enhancements.
The update also lets you use the OS-supplied striped background for a table view. Peek-a-Boo costs US$19.95, though version 2.7 is a free update for registered users of version 2.x. It requires Mac OS X 10.4 or higher.
