Peachpit releases ‘Take Control of Upgrading to Leopard: Early-Bird Edition’

Peachpit has announced Take Control of Upgrading to Leopard: Early-Bird Edition by Joe Kissell . It’s an US$10 ebook guide to prepping your Mac so you can begin installing Mac OS X 10.5 (“Leopard”) as soon as it’s released on Friday, October 26, at 6 p.m.
Take Control of Upgrading to Leopard: Early-Bird Edition offers advice on upgrading to Leopard, including easy ways to make a backup in case of installation problems, how to clear unnecessary disk clutter and files and options for optimal partitioning schemes. Also included is a five-page appendix with direct links to backup programs, maintenance utilities, and hardware drivers. After Apple releases Leopard, readers will have access to a free update to the regular edition of this title, which will walk them through the Leopard installation process, cover how to test a fresh Leopard installation, and explain how to clean up loose ends and troubleshoot problems after installation.
