PayPal to block Safari—or maybe not

Are they or are they not? There are conflicting reports on the lack of love PayPal has for Safari. In February Paypal encouraged users to avoid the Apple web browser altogether.
Why? It doesn’t have two important anti-phishing security features, according to Michael Barrett, PayPal’s chief information security officer.
Mactropolis.com has reported that “word has it that PayPal is seriously considering locking out older browsers in an attempt to curb phishing attacks.” but 9 to 5 Mac says that PayPal denies that it plans to block Safari.
