O’Reilly Media has released the eighth edition of iPod: The Missing Manual. The US$19.99, 300-page book is written by J. D. Biersdorfer and David Pogue.
The book provides a “no-nonsense view of the latest iPod line,” including the tiny shuffle, the video-capable nano, the high-capacity Classic, and the Wi-Fi-enabled touch. It’s packed with explanations and color graphics to show all the things you can do with these iPods.
Biersdorfer is the author of “iPod: The Missing Manual” and “The iPod Shuffle Fan Book,” and is co-author of “The Internet: The Missing Manual” and the second edition of “Google: The Missing Manual.” She has been writing the weekly computer Q&A column for the Circuits section of “The New York Times” since 1998.
Pogue is the weekly personal-technology columnist for the “New York Times” and an Emmy award-winning tech correspondent for CBS News. His funny tech videos appear weekly on CNBC.
