imageOlympus has released the E-520 digital single lens reflex (DSLR) camera, which offers image stabilization built into the portable camera body to compensate for movement. It’s a 10-megapixel camera with 20 preset scene-select modes and more.

The camera’s Autofocus Live View brings subjects into focus on the camera’s HyperCrystal II LCD. Other features of the E-520 include: face detection technology, shadow adjustment technology and “perfect shot” preview that enables photographers to view and select White Balance and Exposure Compensation effects right on the LCD, and see how the image will look before they even capture it.

The Olympus E-520 Digital SLR will be available in July at an estimated street price of US$599.
