Frankfurt: Nokia’s doors are open for Apple to sell its music via the company’s planned Ovi web portal, management board member Anssi Vanjoki told Berliner Zeitung (as reported by Thomson Financial News.
“In Finnish, Ovi means door,” he said. ” And our door is open. Of course, Apple can get into our portal. We even invite Steve Jobs to do so. ”
Vanjoki added that the iTunes Store would be an enrichment for Nokia’s customers. Earlier this year, Nokia said it would combine all the music, gaming and navigation services it offers users on the forthcoming web portal Ovi.

Apple, please stop using your portal, and use our portal instead. We at Nokia have a lot more experience with creating these ‘doors’, as made obvious by the much larger amount of traffic to the Ovi ‘door’, both from Cell phones as well as computers, compared with the iTunes store. Hurry up or you’ll get left behind Steve!
