No Magic has released Cameo Team Server, a Mac compatible product that acts as a centralized, server-based repository for requirements, business and design data, testing and enterprise architecture.
Cameo Team Server enables distributed software developers to retrieve requirements management artifacts (including schemas, repositories and models), update them in a controlled fashion, and merge them back into evolving software development projects. Because this is accomplished in a controlled fashion, it minimizes conflicts and eliminates the ripple effects that typically occur in large, distributed software development projects, according to Daniel Brookshier, chief architect at No Magic.
Storing all requirements management artifacts in a single repository enhances collaboration, by enabling distributed teams to work together to identify project requirements, he adds. It improves productivity, by providing all team members with unified access to requirements, stories, testing, storyboards, and other requirements artifacts, according to Brookshier.
Auto locking is a feature of the server, allowing users to simply modify data without predicting what changes need to be made. Cameo Team Server comes pre-packaged with a built in SQL database. Contact No Magic for pricing options.
