Developed by Niklas Wahrman and originally intended as an entry for the Google Android Challenge, Asterope was not among the Top 50 that were rewarded but it was among the top quarter. Google did not supply the entrance with further feedback after the challenge. The game is now further developed and improved for the iPhone™ 3G, the original iPhone, and iPod® Touch.
Niklas Wahrman has worked hard on the game on the game and pulled in all favors he could to get top-notch graphics and audio. “I hope Asterope is proof that it is still possible to do independently developed games”, said Niklas Wahrman, “Apple has given us independent developers’ the chance of a lifetime”.
