New Safari interface coming to iPhone OS 2.2 (photo)

Apple is changing MobileSafari’s interface in the next iPhone (OS 2.2) software release. Below is a photo of what it will look like.

The new MobileSafari does not use the magnifying glass and refresh buttons at the top of the screen, instead they display the URL bar and search fields side-by-side, much like the desktop version of Safari. Page refreshes are now accomplished via a tiny icon located inside the URL bar.
