imageSpeck Products has released the SpeckTone Retro, an iPod compatible, tabletop stereo speaker system.

It’s compatible with the 5G (video enabled) iPod, iPod with color display, 4G iPod, iPod mini and iPod nano. The US$149.95 system has (as you might guess from its name) a retro design. It has a high gloss piano finish, wood construction, a volume control knob, 28 watt output and a 4-inch subwoofer.

The SpeckTone Retro includes two free “skins” for the 5G and nano iPod. It has an eighth-inch mini plux AUX input and backlit “green glow” volume know. Look for an upcoming Macsimum News review.
