New Gateway computer plays both Blu-Ray, HD DVD discs

imageHmmm. A new Gateway desktop has a feature that might make an interesting feature in an upcoming Mac Pro—or even a next gen iMac. The Gateway GT5662 sports a Hybrid-SuperMulti drive on the GM5664, enabling customers to watch both Blu-Ray and HD DVDs.

The Gateway GT5662 (shown) sports an AMD Phenom processor and DirectX 10 Technology to the GM and GT Series of desktops. It’s available now at retailers for US$1,149.99.
