FileMaker, Inc., has announced the FileMaker Job Board, a free service that connects FileMaker database developers with job opportunities in corporate IT organizations, independent consulting firms, and more.
Job seekers will find a variety of positions including developer, software tester, architect, and intern. They can post their resumes anonymously or apply for specific openings, and can set up e-mail alerts to inform them when a new job is posted in a particular geographic location or
field of interest. The Job Board complements FileMaker’s existing “Search for a Consultant” database, a resource that helps organizations find FileMaker consultants.
“The demand for FileMaker database developers is growing quickly,” says Ryan Rosenberg, FileMaker vice president of marketing and services. “The FileMaker Job Board makes it easier for professionals to find exciting careers in FileMaker development, helps companies expand their use of FileMaker, and enables consulting firms to grow their businesses by adding highly qualified staff.”
