Razer, which makes peripherals[/url] is previewing new products that will roll out this spring: the ProTouch (shown) keyboard and ProTone m100 and m250 earphones.
ProTouch will be “the world’s smartest keyboard,” Razer Robert Krakoff told Macsimum News. Its 112 fully programmable keys on the ProTouch allow configuration of customized keystrokes and 10 special macro command keys. Standard keys can be programmed to act as other keystrokes.
The ProTouch includes an universal iPod Dock for instant synchronization & charging for all iPods. The keyboard has a line-out for audio peripheral plug-ins, two USB ports and a gold-plated USB connector. It will cost US$99.
The ProTone m100 and m250 earphones are enhanced by ProBass Technology, Krakoff sas. The ProTone m100 offers three sizes of interchangeable soft ear plugs. The ProTone m100 has a frequency response of 20-11,000 Hz and 16 ohm’s of impedance.
The ProTone m250 offers more sound with a frequency of 50-20,000 Hz and 32 ohm’s of impedance. It comes with flexible rubber-coated ear clips with ear curvature for firm grip during active usage, and are housed in a sleek metallic finish, Krakoff says. The ProTone m100 and m250 are both available in black and white and come with carrying cases. The former costs $39.99, the latter is $49.99.
