Kerio Technologies is exhibiting its upcoming version Kerio MailServer 6.5 with a new integrated CalDAV server at this week’s MacWorld Conference & Expo. The new CalDAV server overcomes the problems of scheduling meetings between users that have different calendaring applications, the company says.
Implemented in Kerio MailServer 6.5, the CalDAV server allows Apple iCal 3 users on Mac OS X 10.5 (“Leopard”) to access free/busy information and shared calendars not only from other iCal calendars but also from Microsoft Outlook, Entourage, and Kerio WebMail and vice versa. Kerio MailServer centralizes the calendars, so calendars in Apple iCal are automatically synchronized with Kerio WebMail and smartphones for anytime and anywhere access.
The new CalDAV features in Kerio MailServer will be demonstrated at the Kerio booth at MacWorld and available for preview by downloading the release candidate version of Kerio">http://www.kerio.com/beta_section.html">Kerio MailServer 6.5 .
