imageIntuit is holding two contests for QuickBooks for Mac users: the “QuickBooks From Design Contest” and the “Tips and Tricks Contest,” Peggy Chang, senior product manager of QuickBooks for Macintosh, told Macsimum News at this week’s Macworld Conference & Expo in San Francisco. The deadline for both contests is April 30.

The QuickBooks Form Design Contest is looking for Quicken 2005 users to create a custom invoice statement or form. Intuit will choose the 10 best designs. The grand prize winner will receive an iPod mini, while nine additional winners will get US$100 Apple Store gift cards. All winners will be featured in QuickBooks for Mac marketing and the designs will be included in a future version of QuickBooks: Pro for the Mac.

“The Tips and Tricks Contest is open to QuickBooks users of any version,” Chang says. “We’re looking for time-saving advice, your best product tip, trick or shortcut. Submissions can be related to any task in QuickBooks for Mac, any that has boosted your efficiency or streamlined your small business financial management.”

The 10 best tips will be chosen. Winners will receive a $100 Apple Store gift card, and all winners will be featured in QuickBooks for Mac marketing.
