Intego, a Mac security specialist, will show X5 versions of its products at this week’s Macworld Conference & Trade Show. The updates are Mac OS X 10.5 (“Leopard”) compatible.
“While all our software has been compatible with Leopard since the day the new operating system was released, we’ve been working on a new generation of our programs to take advantage of Leopard’s new features,” says Intego CEO Laurent Marteau. “We’ve got a full line of great new programs to show off at the Macworld Expo 2008, and we’re looking forward to seeing the tens of thousands of visitors to the show.”
Intego’s security experts will be on hand to present and demonstrate new X5 versions of NetBarrier, VirusBarrier, Personal Backup, Personal Antispam, FileGuard and Internet Security Barrier, and will be presenting its other programs, such as ContentBarrier, and its server side solutions, VirusBarrier Server, VirusBarrier Mail Gateway and Remote Management Console.
Intego will also be presenting new versions of its Dual Protection line of software, which provide security features for Mac OS X and Windows. Additionally, the company will have special offers on its new X5 software available only on the show floor, as well as some deals on software bundles.
