In his Macworld keynote today, Apple CEO Steve Jobs announced that Apple is dropping “Computer” from its corporate name. The company will now be know simply as “Apple Inc.”
Jobs said that the name change reflects the fact that Apple has grown from a computer manufacturer to a consumer electronics company. Not only does the company make Macs and iPods, but it’s now added consumer electronics products to its line-up.
“Macsimum News” is now offering the “Macsimum MWSF 2007 Coupon Book.” It’s a PDF, downloadable coupon book with discounts, special offers and promotions in conjunction with January’s Macworld Conference & Expo in San Francisco. You can download it here.
