Aerielle, developers of wireless audio solutions, have introduced the i2i Stream Digital Music Broadcaster, a one-to-many wireless portable audio sharing accessory featuring CD quality sound. A two-pack is available for US$129.95, while a single i2i Stream is $69.95.
i2i Stream enables you to wirelessly broadcast audio from a variety of media sources, such as iPods, MP3, CD or DVD players. The i2i Stream Digital Music Broadcaster allows friends to share the same music while using the headset or ear buds of their choice, says Art Cohen, president and CEO of Aerielle. The i2i Stream works with standard headphones or ear buds, allowing consumers to listen wirelessly to a shared audio source.
You can broadcast to hundreds of other i2i Stream users from a single channel within a 30-foot radius and broadcast up to 3 channels in same location without interference, according to Cohen. A choice of seven color codes on the i2i Stream indicates your frequency; you can choose your friend’s color to start sharing tunes. A volume dial allows users to control audio levels, regardless of the media player’s settings. The i2i purportedly supports up to seven hours of battery life on one charge.
