mStation has announced the mophie juice pack iPhone battery extender, which comes “pre-charged” and houses a rechargeable lithium polymer battery within an ergonomic, comfort-grip case with a soft-touch, non-slip finish.
The added “juice” gives consumers up to an additional 250 hours of standby time, eight hours of talk time, six hours of Internet use, seven hours of video playback, and 24 hours of audio playback, according to Ross Howe, sales and product development director for mStation. The juice pack also integrates a four-LED “charge status” indicator and its own 30-pin dock connector, which lets you recharge your juice pack using standard iPhone accessories, like the cable included with your iPhone.
The mophie juice pack will be available online and in stores in mid-December at an manufacturer’s suggested retail price of US$99.95. The mophie juice pack for the iPod touch will be available in January.
