imageFor those new to the column, Macsimum Migration is our term for companies moving from Windows machines to Macs—or at least adding or increasing the number of Macs they use. A Macsimum Migration kit is an overview of Mac OS X products for a particular occupation, such as dentistry, accounting, etc. This week we’re looking at farming/agricultural software for the Mac. Unfortunately, we only found three apps.

Agri4d

Agri4d, which offers agricultural software, accounting, fields, mapping, GPS and farming crops management GPS. It’s localized in English, French and Spanish.

Ferti P&K

Ferti P&K allows the user to calculate P and K dosages. It uses the criteria set out by the I.T.C.F., namely the requirements of the cultivated species; the availability of the element after soil analysis; the past history of the plot; crop rotation; organic inputs.

Power Agronomy

Power Agronomy is designed for agronomists, this software helps track field visits, problems with weeds, diseases and so on, chemical details, and more.
