Macinstruct has announced the launch of Tutorama, a competition that invites individuals to submit educational tutorials on anything related to Apple hardware and software products. Participants will compete for a variety of prizes such as iPods, books personally-signed by Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, and a Mac Mini.
Ten authors and Mac experts have agreed to judge the contest entries. Judges include Macworld Senior Editor Dan Frakes, No Starch Press founder William Pollock, former Apple evangelist Guy Kawasaki, and author Robin Williams.
Participants are encouraged to experiment and submit as many tutorials as they like, in any format. Entries will be published anonymously. The submission period is open from Jan. 23 through March 20. After all submissions are reviewed, finalists will be announced on April 3.
