Macware has updated MacFreelance, invoice and billing software for Mac professionals. Version 2.0.5 adds support for Mac OS X 10.5 (“Leopard”).

The upgrade also has new invoice templates, a new Invoiced Taxes report, support for negative item rates and the ability to mark clients as inactive.

MacFreelance lets you add new clients, monitor time spent on projects, track mileage and payments, use international formatting, generate reports for record keeping, and more.

You can print or email customizable invoices and add your own logo. With MacFreelance you can: create and maintain client lists and setup multiple companies to bill from; add fixed or timed charges and bill in hours, minutes, days, weeks or months; customize and generate quotes and invoices; manage international customers with global currency support and tax calculations; and integrate with Address Book, iCal and Spotlight.

MacFreelance has a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of US$39.99. Version 2.0.5 is a free update for registered users. A demo is also available on the Macware web site.
